Sunwing Kallithea Beach και Sunprime Miramare Beach στις καμένες δασικές εκτάσεις της κεντρικής Ρόδου

Κοντά στις καμένες δασικές εκτάσεις της κεντρικής Ρόδου βρέθηκαν τη Δευτέρα 01 Νοεμβρίου 2021, τα στελέχη των ξενοδοχείων Sunwing Kallithea Beach και Sunprime Miramare Beach, όπου και ξεναγήθηκαν από τους ανθρώπους της κοινωνικής επιχείρησης «Για τη φύση» στην περιοχή η οποία από το έτος 2008 μέχρι σήμερα δεν έχει καταφέρει να αναγεννηθεί.
Οι συμμετέχοντες είχαν την ευκαιρία να κατανοήσουν τον κύκλο ζωής του δάσους, να μάθουν για τα προβλήματα που στέκονται ως εμπόδια στη φυσική του αναγέννηση και για την ανάγκη να ξεκινήσει στοχευμένη αναδάσωση, χωρίς όμως το φυσικό τοπίο να αλλοιωθεί από δέντρα που δεν ανήκουν στην τοπική χλωρίδα.
Ιδιαίτερη αίσθηση προκάλεσαν οι λεπτομέρειες για τον τρόπο συμπεριφοράς των δέντρων μέσα σ’ ένα οικοσύστημα, καθώς παρουσιάζει αρκετές ομοιότητες με την αντίστοιχη καθημερινή συμπεριφορά των ανθρώπων στο πλαίσιο μιας κοινωνίας.
Στελέχη και άνθρωποι της κοινωνικής επιχείρησης ανανέωσαν το ραντεβού τους για την άνοιξη. Τότε, σε μια νέα επίσκεψη, θα δουλέψουν όλοι μαζί για τον καθαρισμό του δάσους από παράγοντες που προκαλούν πυρκαγιά και για εργασία στην καμένη έκταση που έθεσαν υπό τη φροντίδα τους. Η εργασία στην παλιά, καμένη έκταση θα γίνει υπό την καθοδήγηση δασολόγου και με γνώμονα σχετική μελέτη εγκεκριμένη από τη δασική υπηρεσία.

At the burned forest areas of central Rhodes were found on Monday 01 November 2021, the executives of the hotels “Sunwing Kallithea Beach” and “Sunprime Miramare Beach”, where they were guided by the people of the social cooperate enterprise “Gia ti fisi” in the area which from the year 2008 until today it has not managed to be reborn.
Participants had the opportunity to understand the life cycle of the forest. They learn about the problems that are standing as a barriel of forest natural regeneration and the need to start targeted reforestation, but without altering the natural landscape with trees that do not belong to the local flora.
The details of how trees behave in an ecosystem had great impression to everybody, as it appears several similarities with the daily behavior of people in a society.
Executives and people of the social enterprise renewed their appointment. In the spring period, on a new visit, they will all work together to clear the forest of fire-causing factors and to work on the burned area they have placed under their care. The work on the old, burned area will be done under the guidance of a forester and guided by a relevant study approved by the Forestry.
